Give a gift of hope for Father’s Day

Unsure what to get your father for Father’s Day? How about making a donation in their honor to SOS?

By making a donation, you select a handcrafted Father’s Day card to send your special person letting them know you made a donation in their name to SOS to help stop sexual and domestic abuse, child abuse and neglect.

Cards are available from the SOS administrative office, 618 Mechanic St., Emporia.

Donation levels:

  • $10 can support one hour of hotline service.
  • $25 can support three meals at the SOS shelter.
  • $50 can support one session of prevention education.
  • $75 pays for training class fees for 15 CASA volunteers.
  • $100 supports a family in the shelter for one day.
  • $500 helps an abused or neglected child for a month.

SOS serves six counties in east-central Kansas including Chase, Coffey, Lyon, Greenwood, Morris and Osage. For information, call Susan Faler, 620-343-8799.
