Lyndon civic groups to be on display on Fourth of July

On July 4, the city of Lyndon is reserving a section of the park to spotlight local community organizations that serve the Lyndon area.

“Lyndon Pride and American Legion will have a canopy set up with a table showcasing what we do, along with handouts, pictures and info,” said Jayson Massey, post commander of Lyndon’s American Legion Post 125.

Massey said all local civic groups are invited to provide information about their groups to be on display at City Park 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Fourth of July.

“We want to showcase the people that volunteer their time to help our local community,” Massey said.
