Lyndon High School: State senate minority leader to present his view of Kansas education

TOPEKA – Senate Democratic Leader Anthony Hensley will be in Lyndon at 1:30 p.m. Thursday to give his presentation “Education on the Brink” to teachers, parents, school employees, advocates of education, and all Kansans concerned about the current state of education in Kansas.

The Lyndon visit is one stop on the state senator’s lecture tour to speak about Kansas education. He plans to visit school districts around the state, and last week started the tour by visiting several districts including Osage City.

The presentation at Lyndon High School is set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26. All interested citizens are invited to attend.

Wednesday, Hensley is scheduled to be at Silver Lake High School, Silver Lake, at 10:30 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. at Seaman High School, Topeka. Thursday morning at 10:30, he will speak at Shawnee Heights Middle School Library, Tecumseh.
