Senior center update: Make reservations early for popular July bus trips

Osage County Senior Center’s July newsletter is now available with the noon meal menu, the activity calendar, and our transit schedule (bus schedule and menu here). The center is closed Friday, July 4.

The nutrition program is putting on an ice cream social the evening of July 31, so we hope you will note this on your own calendars. Please refer below to “Upcoming” to check out what else is going each week at the center.

Our special July bus trips are filling up fast. The meal and a movie trip to Topeka is July 24, with a lunch stop at McFarland’s. The bus leaves at 10 a.m. that morning and a $3 cash donation is requested upon boarding. Riders will be responsible for meal cost and movie tickets. The evening supper trip to Hays House in Council Grove is set for July 30 with the bus leaving Osage City at 5:45 p.m. A $4 cash donation is requested for this trip.

For more information, stop by the center at 604 Market St., Osage City, or call 785-528-4906.
