It’s an Overbrook kind of Fourth

On the east side of Overbrook Friday around dark, side streets and parking lots filled with spectators in lawn chairs and blankets, enjoying a spectacular fireworks display on the cool July evening. The day’s celebration began with a bicycle and non-motorized parade that lined up at the city water tower and ended at the park, followed by free swimming and evening fun in the park.
