Outdoor concert Thursday evening at Community Covenant Church, Osage City

Kathryn King and To Be a Man will perform an outdoor concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31, at the Community Covenant Church parking lot, in Osage City. Everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs and bug spray and enjoy the show. Soda and water will be available for donations.

To Be a Man, a punk rock band from Minnesota, will open the evening, followed by Kathryn and her band, which includes Danny Ruegsegger, Kolby Thompson, and her brother Jonathan King.

Kathryn has been on tour with To Be a Man since July 23, with performances at venues in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas. Her connection with To Be a Man began at University of Kansas, where she met Christian Schillo, a band member. Other band members are Jacob Ewing, Scott Rifle and Jake Huntley.

Community Covenant Church is located at 334 N. Topeka St., Osage City.
