Pomona State Park friends invite you to Sunday breakfast

082514-EGGS-IN-SKILLET-02Celebration of Pomona Lake’s 50th year continues during the final holiday weekend of the 2014 camping season and Friends of Pomona State Park will be welcoming campers with a skillet-breakfast Sunday, Aug. 31.

The Friends will serve up one-skillet meals, which include eggs, polish sausage and hash browns, along with tortillas, juice and coffee 8 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Sunday at the open air shelter at Kansa Campground, in Pomona State Park.

All campers and others are invited to the fundraiser breakfast, with proceeds supporting the Friends’ improvements and projects at the state park.
