U.S. 75 roundabout construction progresses toward fall completion

Work is progressing on the roundabout being constructed at the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and state highways 31 and 268. The main driving lanes of the roundabout have been poured, with work recently moving to the east and west approaches.

The next phase of the project will reroute northbound and southbound U.S. 75 traffic and eastbound and westbound K-268 traffic to the new roadway, while traffic on K-31 will continue to use the temporary detour. The temporary intersection will have a stop sign on K-31. U.S. 75 traffic will not stop.

The project is expected to be completed in late fall of 2014.
