Linda Devin, 56, Lyndon: Dec. 12, 1957 – Sept. 1, 2014

LYNDON – N. Linda Devin, 56, passed away on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at the Olathe Medical Center. She was born on Dec. 12, 1957, in Ottawa, Kans., the daughter of Bron and Vivian Watts Devin.

Linda grew up in Pomona and had lived in Lyndon for the last 15 years. She graduated from Pomona High School and Baker Nursing School. She had worked at Green Acres Restaurant for many years and had managed the Ottawa Country Club for six years.

Linda was married to Richard Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bron and Vivian Devin.

She is survived by her husband, Dick, of the home; a son, Nicholas Devin (Natalie), of Ottawa; sister, Nancy Ferguson (Ed), Ottawa, three brothers, Dennis Devin (Stella), Quenemo, Norman Devin, Pomona, and Dale “Porky” Devin (Jennifer), Michigan Valley; seven grandchildren, Nolan, Nathan, Nicole, Nicolas, Noelle, Nevaeh and Nevadda, all of Ottawa; niece Dana Devin and son Crayton, of Lawrence, and many other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until service time. Private inurnment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Pomona.
