Help House helps lucky winners stay warm this winter

Help House has announced the winners of the three quilts that were raffled as part of a summer fundraiser.

Connie Lynch won the antique quilt donated by Deloris Culley; John Kreson won the brown oriental style quilt donated by Kathy Smith; and Judy Brown won the horse theme quilt also donated by Kathy Smith, owner of Great Plains Quilt Co., in Burlingame. All winners are from Overbrook.

The total of all donations during this summer’s fundraisers was $2,446.

“We would like to extend a thank you for the quilt donations and to everyone that donated items for the silent auctions, and those who gave so generously,” said Pam Bilyeu, director of Help House. “Help House is very blessed to have such a wonderful group of volunteers that helped out in so many ways.”

Help House is located at 131 W. 15th St., Lyndon. For more information, contact Bilyeu at 785-828-4888 or email [email protected]. See related story here.
