Nathalee Forrest Linden, 83, Overbrook: Oct. 23, 1930 – Sept. 12, 2014

Nathalee Forrest Linden, 83, passed away Sept. 12, 2014, at Brookside Manor, Overbrook, Kan. She was born in Ottawa, Kan., Oct. 23, 1930, the daughter of Fred Forrest and Hazel (Ely) Harrison. She attended Ottawa High School with the class of 1948.

On July 10, 1948, Nathalee was united in marriage to Donald Linden. Donald and Nathalee made their home in Overbrook for more than 54 years, proudly sharing over 66 years of marriage.

She was a wife, homemaker and mother of four children. She also sold Mary Kay Cosmetics for 15 years. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Fellowship, Topeka.

Nathalee is survived by her husband William Donald Linden, Overbrook; two sons, Bill Linden, Topeka, and Rick Linden and his wife, Jane, Troy, Ohio; two daughters, Jill Olson, Bedford, Texas, and Kim Wikle and her husband, Richard, Birmingham, Ala.; four grandchildren, Ronnie Wikle and his wife, Jessica, Pomona, Kan., Elizabeth Mann and her husband, Daniel, Kansas City, Mo., Laura Barnard and her husband, Sydney, Beaver Creek, Ohio, Chris Linden, Troy, Ohio, and Lorna Wikle, Birmingham, Ala.; two great grandchildren, Ryan Coleman, Kansas City, Mo., Kaelie Mae Wikle, Pomona; and one sister, Shirley Fischer.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Duane “Bud” Harrison, sister, Dorothy Marie Gifford, and Granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Linden.

The family of Mrs. Linden will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Greenwood-Roberts Funeral, Overbrook. Funeral services will be 11a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Maranatha Baptist Fellowship, Topeka. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kan.
