Chamber welcomes a new, thrifty way to shop in downtown Osage City

092214-gubbins-ribbon2The Osage City Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new thrift shop to Osage City last week with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Cutting the ribbon with Gubbins’ owners Roger and Candice Schmitendorf , center, are from left, Osage City manager Rod Willis, state Rep. Peggy Mast, Chamber director Cathryn Houghton, Jan Ogleby, Dave Azwell, Schmitendorfs, Chamber vice president Tara Azwell, Ashley Hards, Jodi Stark, and Jim Lohmeyer. The shop, at 622 Market St., Osage City, offers a selection clothes and shoes, house wares, home decor, toys, antiques, and local handmade items. For more information, click here.
