Learn more about Medicare at senior center seminar

Osage County Senior Center’s first informational presentation in October will be “Medicare 101” at 2 p.m. Oct. 7. Anyone wanting to learn more about the ins and outs of Medicare should try to attend this event at the senior center, 604 Market St., Osage City.

We are in need of more contestants for the fifth annual Senior Spelling Bee planned for 7 p.m. Oct. 9at the center. It really is a lot of fun, and a great learning experience for the fifth-graders acting as judges from Lyndon Elementary-Middle School. Those Osage County citizens 55 and older are eligible to compete in the bee. Please consider supporting this activity by signing up.
