Two Osage City men sentenced to prison

Two Osage City men were sentenced to prison Monday on unrelated cases in Osage County District Court by Chief Judge Phillip Fromme.

William H. Morgan, 27, Osage City, was sentenced to serve 16 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections for a felony theft conviction involving the theft of a 2004 Honda Pilot in Carbondale that occurred on April 25, 2014. Morgan’s sentence was ordered to run consecutive to other prison sentences from Shawnee County.

Daniel B.J. Lehnherr, 20, Osage City, appeared before Fromme on a motion to revoke his probation imposed in prior cases. Lehnerr was sentenced to serve 10 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections after a third violation of his probation. Lehnherr was convicted of aggravated battery in May 2012, for an incident that occurred on March 25, 2011, in Osage City.

As of Wednesday, both men remained in the Osage County Jail awaiting transportation to KDOC.
