Overbrook man charged with aggravated indecent liberties, exploitation, solicitation

An Overbrook man has been charged in Osage County District Court for aggravated indecent liberties with a child, sexual exploitation of a child, and indecent solicitation of a child. William W. Foster, 19, of Overbrook, was arrested Oct. 10 by the Osage County Sheriff’s Office and held in the Osage County Jail on $100,000 bond.

The charges, filed by Osage County Attorney Brandon Jones on Oct. 14, allege the crimes occurred between Sept. 1, 2013, and Dec. 31, 2013, and the victim in the case was older than 14 but younger than 16 years old.

On Oct. 15, Foster’s attorney, Jacqueline Reid-Peterson, filed a motion for bond reduction, and the court reduced the bond to $50,000. Foster is scheduled to appear in court with his attorney on Oct. 30.

All three charges are felonies, with aggravated indecent liberties with a child carrying a penalty of 55 months to 247 months in prison upon conviction.

Witnesses listed in the complaint include the alleged victim and Osage County Sheriff’s Investigator Nathan Purling.
