Osage County Veterans Eternal Flame will glow once again thanks to American Legion Post 125.

American Legion Post 125 is inviting everyone to the rededication of the Osage County Veterans Eternal Flame, which will follow the post’s Veterans Day soup supper and a flag retirement ceremony.

The soup feed and flag retirement ceremony will be 5:30-7:45 p.m. Nov. 11 at Lyndon Community Center, 204 Topeka Ave., followed at 8 p.m. with the rededication of the Osage County Veterans Eternal Flame, located on the Osage County Courthouse front lawn.

The Kansas Commission of Veterans Affairs will also have its mobile unit on hand to answer any questions about VA benefits.

Anyone who has American flags needing to be retired is invited to drop them off at 1115 Ash Ct., Lyndon. If no one is home, they can be left on the front porch.

The Veterans Day event is hosted by American Legion Post 125 and its Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion chapter.
