OCHS students named as Kansas Honors Scholars

Osage City High School students Sarah Peterson, Maren Peterson, Kurtis Wilk, Jacob Butterfield, Aundrea Koger and Xinru Li were recognized as Kansas Honors Scholars at the Kansas Honors Program banquet held Nov. 3, 2014, at the Emporia State University Student Union.

To be nominated as a Kansas Honors Scholar, students must be graduating seniors who rank in the top 10 percent of their class. Each scholar received a Kansas Honors Program certificate and special Kansas Honors Program edition of “Webster’s New College Dictionary”. The program is sponsored by the KU Alumni Association.
