Burlingame Community Library is making gift giving easy, celebrating Country Christmas with a book sale and cookie sale. The library will be open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. for Burlingame’s Christmas celebration Dec. 6, with the book sale in the Kansas Room starting at 9 a.m. The book sale begins 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 4, continues 1-5 p.m. Dec. 5, and Saturday during the celebration. The library will also have a cookie sale in the meeting room during Country Christmas.

At 4 p.m. during the celebration will be a story time for all ages at the library. Everyone is invited.

Share the warmth

Got scrap yarn? The library is doing its part during December to share the warmth, collecting handmade and new winter clothing to decorate the Christmas tree and then donate to Burlingame Elementary School. Hats, ear warmers, scarves, gloves, mittens and hand warmers will be accepted.
