Wanda E. Elliott, 82, Osage City: Jan. 9, 1932 – Dec. 15, 2014

OSAGE CITY – Wanda E. Elliott, 82, passed away on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at the Osage Nursing Center. She was born on Jan. 9, 1932, the daughter of William and Sarah Painter Ryan.

Wanda had lived in Topeka, Lyndon and Osage City. She had worked as a bookkeeper in Topeka for many years. 

She was preceded in death by two sons, John Husband and Steven Wigner, and two sisters, Barbara Cox and Jean Browning.

Wanda is survived by her four children, Robert Husband of Pierceville, Frank Wigner, Issaquah, Wash., Debra Blankenship, Ft. Smith, Ark., and Anita Wigner, Osage City; six brothers, Ernie Ryan, Floyd Ryan, Larry Ryan, Ronnie Ryan, all of Missouri, Steve Ryan and Tony Ryan, both of Arkansas; six sisters, Dedria Palmer, of Florida, Jenny Ryan and Kay Nelson, both of Colorado, Patsy Orlowski, of Michigan, Peggy Ryan, of Missouri, and Rosemary Snuffer, of Nevada; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Dec. 19, at the Feltner Funeral Chapel, in Lyndon. Burial was in the Penwell Gabel Cemetery, in Topeka.
