Smoke in the Spring is officially under way with barbecue teams checked in and ready to begin cooking for Saturday’s competition in Osage City. Friday night, everyone has a chance to sample the gourmet barbecue offered during Taste of Osage City, which began at 5 p.m. and lasts until the food runs out.
