Pharmacy to present senior center seminar on controlling blood sugar

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the Osage County Senior Center, Amber, of Gibson’s TrueCare Pharmacy, will give a free seminar, Controlling Your Blood Sugar, right after lunch. If you have any questions regarding diabetes, a healthy diet, or related medications, this would be an excellent time to get some answers.

Once again, we want to inform those who have signed up for the AARP Tax Aid service on March 3 to make sure you have taken note of the time frame for your tax service appointment and to bring the required documentation. All time slots have been filled. However, there are a number of other locations, dates and times that AARP will be providing this service.  Information on alternate dates and places is available at the senior center.

There are still a few seats left on the Feb. 21 Cabin Fever Buster bus trip to Panera Bread Bakery & Cafe, in Topeka. Anyone interested should call 785-528-4906, or stop by the senior center at 604 Market St., Osage City, as soon as possible.
