Winter weather cancels trip to bakery

This is the last reminder for all those who have signed up for the free tax assistance being offered by AARP at the Osage County Senior Center on Tuesday, March 3. All 55 time slots have been filled. If you plan to eat lunch at our nutrition site that day, make sure to call for your reservation at 785-528-4170.

The Feb. 21 cabin-fever-buster bus trip to Panera Bread Bakery & Café in Topeka was cancelled due to poor weather and road conditions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

A bus is being made available to those local citizens attending the Mid-America Nutrition Program dinner and pie auction event, the evening of Saturday, March 14, in Ottawa. Call 785-528-4906 or stop by the senior center at 604 Market St., Osage City, for more details.

  • Friday, Feb. 27 – Bingo 10 a.m.; cribbage 12:15 p.m.
