Free fare offered for countywide bus ride to Osage City; call for reservations

We are still hoping to generate some interest in our public transportation program with a FREE bus trip offer for Osage County residents on Wednesday, March 25. We will pick up folks in any town in the county and bring them to the senior center in Osage City for a variety of activities and lunch options. Riders could spend time at the center, enjoy a leisurely walk around town, or check out a variety of local businesses. Morning pick up times will be determined by the number and location of participants. To reserve your seat on the bus, call 785-528-4906 by Tuesday, March 24.

A big thank you goes out to Wayne White for the technical assistance presentation on Facebook last week. It is obvious that there are several of us that are uncomfortable with the various means of communicating nowadays, and that is why Wayne offers his assistance each month. So, keep it in mind that he is at the senior center at 9 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month, right after the biscuits and gravy extravaganza served by the Osage Nursing Center staff.

For more information, call the center or stop by 604 Market St., Osage City.
