Sheriff’s office seeks information about fatality hit and run near Overbrook

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the driver that struck Timothy “TJ” Kemble at 5:03 a.m. on August 24, 2014. Kemble was struck and killed while walking approximately two miles west of Overbrook on U.S. Highway 56.

The sheriff’s office is requesting any information that would lead to the vehicle and the driver who struck Kemble.

“Just over seven months have passed and the family of TJ Kemble needs closure as to what happened to TJ that morning,” said Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Osage County Crimestoppers at 877-OSCRIME, or the Osage County Sheriff’s Office at 785-828-3121. A reward up to $1,000 can be received from Crimestoppers for information.
