Horticulture Thursdays planned at Lyndon Extension office

LYNDON – Extension agent Shannon Blocker will be in the Lyndon office of the Frontier Extension District to diagnose horticulture problems, answer lawn and garden questions, and schedule on-site visits in Osage County on Thursday mornings during the growing season, beginning April 9, and ending Aug. 27, 2015.

Hours of availability will be 9:30 a.m. to noon. Residents may come by the Lyndon office at 128 W. 15th, or call 785-828-4438. Shannon will respond to emails to [email protected] any day of the week during business hours and encourages photo attachments when appropriate. If Thursday mornings do not work for you, but you can get samples to the Lyndon office a day or so before, Shannon will respond while in Lyndon.

Having an Extension agent with horticulture program focus is a new service of the recently expanded Frontier Extension District. Blocker regularly reports to the Garnett office of the Frontier Extension District. Watch for new programs and service in the horticulture area and get on the horticulture e-mail list by completing the “E-mail Contacts” form at www.frontierdistrict.ksu.edu
