Plan to attend the SOS Child Abuse Prevention Summit

The sixth annual SOS Child Abuse Prevention Summit is quickly approaching. This year’s speaker is Frank J. Kros, a dynamic worldwide speaker from the Upside Down Organization. His presentation is structured to provide attendees with a better understanding of the impact poverty and child abuse have on a child’s brain.

The summit is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the Flint Hills Technical College, Emporia.

For more information or to register, see www.soskansas.com or call Susan Faler, 620-343-8799. Registration deadline is April 10.

The cost is $40 and lunch is provided.
