Mildred Anderson, 99, Overbrook: March 2, 1916 – April 7, 2015

OVERBROOK – Mildred Anderson, 99, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Brookside Retirement Community, Overbrook, Kan. She was born on March 2, 1916, on the family farm near Lyndon, the daughter of Clarence and Minnie Paulsen Franklin.

Mildred had lived in Osage County all of her life. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Cross Roads Community Church, at Scranton.

On April 4, 1942, Mildred was married to Roy Anderson, in Ottawa. Roy preceded her in death on May 23, 1972. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gene Franklin, on May 22, 1971.

Mildred is survived by her two sons, Gaylord (Sue) Anderson, Carbondale, and Doug (Deanna) Anderson, Scranton; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
