School district to honor Cauthon for years of service at Burlingame Schools

051315-cauthon-retiresLongtime Burlingame schoolteacher and coach Jim Cauthon will be honored with a retirement reception 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in the commons area of Burlingame High School. The reception is open to the public.

Cauthon will be retiring from USD 454 Burlingame at the end of the current school year, having completed 28 years of teaching in the school district. He taught seventh-12th grade industrial arts during his career, coached numerous sports teams, served as sponsor for various classes and clubs, and participated on district committees.

Everyone is invited to join the school district on May 20 in thanking Cauthon for his years of service to USD 454 and the Burlingame community.
