Pete and Millie Traw: Services June 13, 2015, Alpine Cemetery

Floid “Pete” Traw was born on Aug. 7, 1928, in Strawn, Kan., the son of Homer and Manie Traw. He departed this life on Jan. 11, 2015. Mildred “Millie” was born on April 3, 1931, in Osage City, Kan., the daughter of William and Marjorie Neilson. She departed this life on Nov. 6, 2014. Both are now with their Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

Pete and Millie were married on July 6, 1947. Two children were born unto this union, Diana in 1950 and Randall in 1953.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Hap, Roy, Paul, Thelma, Nancy, Edna and Rosalie (Toots). Peggy Pinnock, of Burlingame, is the sole surviving sibling. Millie was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Thelma Pollom, Topeka, and James (Bud) Neilson, Sacramento, Calif.

Pete and Millie are survived by their daughter, Diana Masullo and husband, Nick, and their four sons, Jason, Daniel, Andrew and Matthew; their son, Floyd (Randall) Traw and wife, Diane, and their children, Morgan, Jamieson, Katie and Robert; and seven great-grandchildren, Sam, Abby, Mallory, Charlie, Maggie, Jack and Christopher.

Graveside memorial services for Pete and Millie will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Alpine Cemetery on the north side of Melvern Lake.
