Paul Brecheisen, 82, Lyndon: July 26, 1932 – June 12, 2015

LYNDON – Paul Brecheisen, 82, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, in Topeka, Kan. He was born on July 26, 1932, on the family farm east of Lyndon, the son of Clarence and Hallie McCreight Brecheisen.

Paul lived his whole life on the family farm, working as a farmer and stockman. He graduated from Lyndon High School in 1951. He was a member of the Kansas Livestock Association, the Kansas Farm Bureau, the Lyndon school board, the Valley Brook Township Board, and the Vassar United Methodist Church.

On Aug. 21, 1951, Paul was married to Dollie Burns, in Topeka.

Paul is survived by his wife, Dollie, of the home; his son, Doug Brecheisen, Lyndon; two daughters, Diana (Earl) Detwiler, Lyndon, and Anita (Rick) Hodge, Topeka; brother, Charles (Ruth) Brecheisen, Topeka; sister, Maxine Miller, Topeka; and four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, at the Vassar United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at the Feltner Funeral Home, Lyndon.
