Judges’ association elects Osage County magistrate judge as vice president

TOPEKA – The Kansas District Magistrate Judges’ Association, an organization open to state district magistrate court judges, elected officers last week to serve the organization in the fiscal year that began July 1.

Osage County’s district magistrate judge, Taylor J. Wine, was elected as first vice president and legislative chair. He serves as 4th Judicial District magistrate judge for Osage and Coffey counties.

District magistrate judge Guy R. Steier was elected president of the association. He serves as district magistrate judge in Cloud County.

Other magistrate judges elected as officers of the association were Marty K. Clark as second vice president, Philip J. Moore, third vice president, Roseanna K. Mathis, treasurer, and Debra S. Anderson, secretary.

The new officers were elected at a statewide conference for judges held June 18-19, in Overland Park.

Outgoing president is magistrate judge Sheila P. Hochhauser, of Riley County.
