Resource fair fills senior center; plans being made for next year

Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn visits with lunchtime diners at the Osage County Senior Center, offering tips to help senior citizens stay safe.

The annual senior resource fair drew a crowd to the Osage County Senior Center April 25, and had a record number of vendors providing information and education on senior issues. Many health check-ups by local health providers were also available.

Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn presented information on senior safety, and the Kansas Department of Insurance offered a program explaining Medicare and its changes.

The event was hosted by the senior center, PRN Home Health and Hospice, and the Osage County Health Department.
