Phyllis Watkins Tudor, 91, Overbrook: June 4, 1924 – Aug. 14, 2015

081715-Phyllis-TudorOVERBROOK – A celebration of the life of Phyllis Watkins Tudor, 91, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at the Overbrook United Methodist Church. She died Aug. 14, 2015, at Brookside Manor, in Overbrook.

She was born June 4, 1924, in Shelby County, Ohio, to Philemon Allen and Elizabeth Pfisterer Watkins. On May 13, 1944, she married William G. Tudor, who was in the U.S. Navy. Together they served Evangelical United Brethren and United Methodist Churches in Batavia, Ill, Drummond, Okla., and Leonardville, Holton and Overbrook, Kan.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, of Overbrook; sons Bill (Lorie), Wilmington, Del., and Steve (Nancy), Topeka; daughters, Phyllis (Ed) Daniels, Fort Worth, Texas, and Imozelle (Jim) McVeigh, San Diego, Calif.; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Miriam Lescalleet, Zanesfield, Ohio.
