Jordan signs off as senior center director

The transition begins. I am signing off as director of the Osage County Senior Center and “news correspondent”.  I appreciate all the support I have received from senior center patrons, public transit riders and local citizens. As they say, “I couldn’t have done it without you.”

  • Thursday, Aug. 20 – Art/Painting Class 9 a.m.
  • Friday, Aug. 21 – HTHC foot care clinic starts at 9 a.m.; hearing checks 10 a.m.; bingo 10 a.m.; cribbage 12:15 p.m.; Gibson Pharmacy diabetes seminar 12:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 24 – Sewing 8 a.m.; armchair exercise 11 a.m.; cribbage 12:15 p.m.; play pitch and eat 5:15 p.m., cards begin at 5:45 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 25 – Ceramics 9 a.m.; Mexican Train games 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 26 – Sewing 8 a.m.; armchair exercise 11 a.m.; cribbage 12:15 p.m.
  • Thursday, Aug. 27 –Art and painting class 9 a.m.; evening bus trip to Perkins 5:30 p.m.
