Two Lyndon teens and a 1-year-old child were critically injured in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday morning, according to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office.

Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn said in a press release this afternoon that deputies, Lyndon first responders and Osage County EMS responded to an injury accident at 10:17 a.m. today on Morrill Road just south of 245th Road in Osage County.  Upon arrival they located a 1996 Pontiac vehicle that had struck a tree.

The driver, Roger Lane, 16, of Lyndon, was transported by air ambulance to Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka. A passenger, Brandon Lane, 15, Lyndon, was transported by air ambulance to Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. The exact location of Brandon in the vehicle is not known at this time, but he was not wearing a seat belt, the sheriff’s office reported.  The third passenger, A.J.
