Eastbound I-470 to southbound U.S. 75 entrance ramp to close Tuesday

Drivers are advised to expect delays for a weekday ramp closure on the eastbound Interstate 470 to southbound U.S. 75 entrance ramp at the south edge of Topeka, begining Tuesday morning. The ramp will be closed for milling work between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, weather permitting.

The work is part of an ongoing U.S. 75 resurfacing project in Shawnee and Osage Counties.

A marked detour will be provided, and eastbound I-470 ramp traffic will detour via the Burlingame Road exit onto southbound Burlingame Road to eastbound 42nd Street to access southbound U.S. 75.

Updated daily traffic information for this pavement repair project and for the entire Topeka Metro Area can be viewed at http://www.ksdot.org/bureaus/TopekaMetro/laneclose.asp.
