Celebrate fall! Lyndon invites all to a day of family fun

Lyndonfallfest480x260Days are getting noticeably shorter; leaves are beginning to turn colors. With the coming of fall, the Lyndon community is gearing up for its annual celebration, FallFest 2015, which over the past few years has become known locally as the premier, family fun, fall community celebration.

Early Saturday, Oct. 3, fall begins in earnest at Lyndon, with the Methodist church serving breakfast beginning at 7 a.m. Shortly afterward, the craft fair begins at 9 a.m., and the bounces houses will be inflated, providing hours of bounce time for all sizes of kids (weather permitting). Local students will have their artwork on display, in conjunction with a student-organized cake walk. The afternoon will be filled with games of skill, dance performances, touch-a-truck and firefighting demonstrations, and pumpkin painting and bowling. The American Legion post will man the beer garden, and fall food of all types will be available in the food court.
