Celtic guitarist to return to Osage City

The Osage City Area Arts Council is welcoming back acclaimed Celtic guitarist Jerry Barlow for a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, in the Grace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 210 Holliday St., Osage City.

At his previous concert, Barlow incorporated his unique and skillfully delivered music of traditional pieces and his own Celtic-inspired compositions. A warm, audience accessible performer, Barlow combined lively jigs, spirited reels and haunting melodies with his skill as a storyteller. His style and presentation soothed the soul, warmed the heart and lifted the spirit.

By sharing the history, humor and legends behind the music, Barlow brings traditional Celtic music to life. He is a skilled musician, funny and keeps your attention as he performs a wide range of music.

Barlow has produced several CDs, and has been nominated for and won several national awards. His music is widely played on National Public Radio stations.

Admission is by free will donation.
