Paul R. Maycroft, 57, Melvern: Sept. 30, 1958 – Sept. 30, 2015

MELVERN – Paul R. Maycroft, 57, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, in Topeka, Kan. He was born on Sept. 30, 1958, in St. Joseph, Mo., the son of Raymond and Dorothy McCarter Maycroft.

Paul had lived in Kingman, Ariz., before moving to Melvern in 2009.

He was a truck driver most of his life. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Atchison, the Masonic Lodge No. 158, the Scottish Rite, York Rite and Shriners.

On Oct. 14, 1989, Paul was married to Jeanie Ray Trebilcock, in Boise, Idaho.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie, of the home; two sons, Thomas Kerley, St. Joseph, Mo., and Toby Kerley, Kingman, Ariz.; three daughters, Genia Brown, Westphalia, Paula Maycroft, Rushville, Mo., and Stephanie Maycroft, Osawatomie; a brother, Joe Hobb, Atchison; a sister, Doris Christianson, Savannah, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
