Clifford P. Davis, 81, Osage City: April 21, 1934 – Dec. 29, 2015

OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Clifford P. Davis, 81, Osage City, Kan., passed away Dec. 29, 2015, at Stormont Vail Hospital, in Topeka.

He was born on April 21, 1934, in Barclay, Kan., the youngest of 10 children of Merna and Mary Elizabeth Davis. Clifford lived his entire life in the Barclay/Osage City area, where he worked at the family dairy farm. He was a graduate of Osage City High School.

Clifford was a gentle, fun loving person who took his joy from time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his twin brother, Clyde (Leota) Davis, of Rome, Ga., and sister, Wilma Hambelton, of Lenexa, Kan. Clifford was the beloved uncle of 41 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Philip Davis, Owen Davis and Wayne Davis; and sisters, Lucille Christiason, Elizabeth Burris, Loretta Turner and Imogene Obermeier.

Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Osage City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Osage City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Osage City.
