The Osage City Area Arts Council kicked off its 13th season with a vocal concert by Osage City native Nick Stoppel on Jan. 16. The Grace Lutheran Church sanctuary was filled to capacity as Nick sang a variety of songs. Refreshments were served afterwards as friends were greeted by the Stoppel family and Nick.

Upcoming performances were announced. At 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, the United States Air Force Academy Band Rampart Winds, a five-member wind ensemble, will perform at the Grace Lutheran Fellowship Hall.

The Emporia Community Choir will perform  at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in the First Presbyterian Church sanctuary.

At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, the Arts Council will host a return engagement of Claude Bourbon, Spanish guitarist and vocalist. The venue will be announced at a later date.
