OCPR Update: Little ninjas to begin Tae Kwon Do classes

Osage City Parks and Recreation will be finishing up softball hitting clinics in February, but little ninjas and other students are ready to start Tae Kwon Do classes.

OCPR Softball Hitting Clinic

  • Softball Instructor, OCHS Softball Head Coach, Tammy Serna
  • 14 years coaching high school level softball
  • 3rd-8th grade softball players
  • Remaining clinic dates – Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24
  • Clinic times, 4-7 p.m.
  • Alternate days and time as needed
  • 20-minute sessions
  • Sessions are setup BY APPOINTMENT ONLY with Coach Serna, 785-633-2708.
  • $5 per player, per player, per session.
  • Clinic location, OCPR Building, 517 S. First St., Osage City.
  • Clinic cost, USD 420 Students, $5.

Tae Kwon Do

  • Little Ninjas (age 5-7)
  • Monday, 6:30-7:10 p.m., start Feb. 2
  • New student, $90 (includes uniform and shirt)
  • Additional family member, $75
  • Open TKD class (Age 8 and above)
  • Monday, 7:15-8:30 p.m.
  • New student (start Feb. 1), $130 (includes uniform & shirt)
  • Additional family member, $100

Price includes T-shirt and uniform for all new students, ITA membership for the new TKD students, and belt testing for all qualified students. Existing TKD students may be required to renew their ITA membership and are evaluated individually (annual renewal fee). Class held at the OCPR Building, 530 S.
