The January meeting of the Lyndon Leaders 4-H club was held Jan. 10, 2016, at the Lyndon school cafeteria. Vice president Brayden Marcotte called the meeting to order, and Ethan Kneisler led the 4-H pledge and flag salute. Secretary Ryan Bones did roll call which was answered by “Give a demonstration of something you got for Christmas”.  There were 24 adults, 1 leader, and 26 members present.

Officer reports were given by secretary Ryan Bones, reporter Leanne Shoup, and treasurer Ethan Kneisler.

Leader Lara Shoup discussed the upcoming events found in the 4-H newsletter and made announcements regarding upcoming project meetings. The meeting was then turned over to Brayden Marcotte, who announced the program. Kendall Young gave a demonstration on how to make a rose out of frosting. Joyse Hutchcroft gave a demonstration on how to make a bubble blower and formula out of recycled items.

The Kneisler family led recreation with a game of Simon Says, followed by delicious refreshments by the Young family.

The next club meeting was scheduled for Feb. 14 at the Lyndon school cafeteria.
