Students, friends, family gather for Burlingame High School’s Saturday graduation

Burlingame High School grads celebrate their final high school achievement.

Saturday evening, Burlingame High School graduated 22 seniors of the class of 2013.

The Burlingame High School Band, directed by Samantha Purcell, played Pomp and Circumstance as the seniors entered the elementary school gymnasium and were welcomed by USD 454 Superintendent Allen Konicek.

Burlingame High School Principal Tammy Baird presented the class, which was accepted by USD 454 Board of Education President Scott Greenwood.

Members of the board of education presented diplomas to: Samuel Bolton, Sebastian Boner, Brian Boyett, Jonah DeMars, Allison Droege, Alex Edmiston, Tristan Fitzgerald, Addison Jo Hibbert, Jillian Hibbert, Nathan Hovestadt, Delina Jones, Austin Lewis, Briana Lewis, David Love, Christopher Mohn, Connor Mundy, Eric Riggs, Kelsey Ritter, Samantha Shaffer, Ashley Smith, Ceasar Sowers, Jessica Zabokrtsky.

Valedictorian and salutatorian were Tristan Fitzgerald and Christopher Mohn. Senior class president Allison Droege offered the farewell address to the graduating class.

Attendants were Ashton Dorr, Hayley Lewis, Parker Lee, and Dakotah Sporing. Class of 2013 sponsors were Shelley Banzhaf and Linda White.
