OCEM schedules countywide emergency services training at Melvern

Osage County Emergency Management has scheduled a countywide training and tabletop exercise, beginning at 8 a.m. March 26, 2016, at Melvern Community Center. OCEM and Osage County EMS will present training on medical triage and conduct tabletop exercises for two emergency scenarios. EMS re-certification hours will be provided.

All local emergency responders are encouraged to attend, and asked to register the number of personnel that will be attending from each agency. To register or for more information, contact Bryce Romine, Osage County emergency management director, at 785-828-3323.

The agenda for the meeting includes:

  • 8 a.m. – Check-in
  • 8:15 a.m. – Triage training
  • 11 a.m. – Tabletop exercises
  • 12 p.m. – Hot wash and improvement

The schedule is subject to change; training will conclude at 12:30 p.m.
