Pomona State Park welcomes spring with annual Easter egg hunt Saturday

032616-Bunny-with-Basket-06It’s Easter weekend, and what better way to spend Saturday than hunting for Easter eggs? Kids in three ages groups can enjoy hunting for eggs and also have a chance to win one of three bicycles to be given away at Pomona State Park’s fourth annual Easter egg hunt beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Everyone is invited to come early for all the activities that will be centered at Southwind Shelter House. In addition to food vendors, the Osage County Sheriff’s Office will offer its Ident-a-Kid program. Also on hand will be face painting and numerous door prizes with a chance for all to win.

For the Easter egg hunt, entrance vehicle permits will be waived in exchange for donations of canned goods that will be given to Help House.

All egg hunters are encouraged to bring their own Easter basket for the hunt.
