Jennifer J. Horsley-Black, 33, Scranton: May 13, 1982 – March 28, 2016

SCRANTON – Jennifer J. Horsley Black, 33, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, at her home in Scranton, Kan. Jennifer was born May 13, 1982, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Gary and Elora Adkins Horsley.

Jennifer graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2000, and attended Allen County Community College. She worked at Security Benefit, in Topeka, for several years. She loved working with children and was a wonderful babysitter. She loved the color pink and Christian music.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Elora Horsley, of Scranton; two sons, Josiah and Camdon Black, Greenville, Ala.; a twin brother, Jason Horsley and wife, Alesha, of Topeka; and an older brother, Chad Horsley, Minneapolis, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her father in 2001.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka.
