Darlene F. Clark, 82, Paxico: Dec. 22, 1933 – May 4, 2016

PAXICO – Darlene F. Clark, 82, of Paxico, Kan., passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the Aldersgate Village. Darlene was born Dec. 22, 1933, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Tom O’Donnell and Velda Mitchell O’Donnell.

She graduated from Rossville High School in 1951. She married Wayne Clark on Feb. 21, 1952, in Rossville, Kan. Darlene attended Clark’s Business School, but she dedicated most of her adult life to caring for her husband, sons and mother.

She had attended Rossville United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Rossville American Legion Auxiliary. 

Darlene was preceded in death by a grandson, Eli Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne, of more than 64 years; two sons, Philip (Susan) Clark, Overbrook, Kan., and Douglas (Ginny) Clark, Tecumseh, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Davidson Funeral Home. She will lie in state 1-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery, south of Paxico.
