As summer arrives, the Osage City Aquatic Center is the place to be, just to cool off or for water aerobics or swimming lessons. Osage City Parks and Recreation is also gearing up for summer camps, including art, youth football and soccer. OCPR’s schedules and camp details are below:

Osage City Aquatic Center

• OCAC pool hours: May 28-August 7, Monday-Friday, 1-7pm, Saturday and Sunday, 1-6pm; August 8 – Labor Day, Saturday and Sunday, 1-6pm (includes Labor Day)
• Daily admission, $3, age 4 & above), age 3 & below FREE, age 65 and over FREE
• OCAC swim pass booklets: swim booklets are available for purchase at OCAC; 50 swim card booklet, $50
• Deck and pool rental reservation can be made with Corey Linton, before to May 28

OCAC Water Aerobics

• Tuesday and Thursdays, 7pm, week of May 30-week of August 1
• Water aerobics instructor, Marcy DeWitt
• Cost is $3 per class or one swim card

Cost is $25 per swimmer per session. Pre-school classes are for children age 3-5. A minimum of 4 swimmers is needed for a class to make. Swim lessons are Monday-Thursday ONLY. Lessons WILL NOT be held if the air temperature is below 70 degrees.

Private Swim Lessons

• Cost $40 per week (one week = five 30-minute lessons)

Camp location – Osage City Community Building (Jones Park). A child’s grade is based on their grade for the 2016-2017 school year.

Youth Football Camp

• Grade is based on the player’s grade in the 2015-2016 school year.
• Kindergarten-6th Grade
• July 18-22, 7-8:30pm
• $20 per player

Soccer Camp

• 5th-8th Grade; grade is based on the 2016-2017 school year
• OCPR is partnering with Ryan Murphy to offer a soccer camp for boys and girls in 5th-8th grade.
• Camp location, Jones Park Ball Complex (Outfield of Field #3)
• Camp dates & time, August 1-5, 9-11am
• Players at the soccer camp will participate in, Fun Games, Scrimmages, and Drills
• Players need to wear comfortable clothes for camp (T-shirt, shorts, cleated shoes are preferred but not required), and water. A snack will be provided on each camp day.
• Camp fee, $10 per player
• Camp forms and payment can be taken to Osage City Hall (Utility Office, 201 S. Fifth St.)
