Norman Keith Naber, 70, Melvern: Dec. 25, 1945 – June 19, 2016

MELVERN, Kan. – Norman K. Naber, 70, of Melvern, Kan., passed away at his home June 19, 2016. He was born the son of Peter Robert and Margaret Johnston Naber on Dec. 25, 1945, in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Norman joined the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He moved to the Kansas City area and worked as an auto mechanic and a security guard for a hospital. Upon his retirement he moved to the Melvern community in 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Norman is survived by his three sons, Brian, of North Carolina, Curtis, of Washington, and Robert, of Kansas; a daughter, Margaret Ann Coffman, of Kansas, two brothers Curtis and Roger; four sisters, Virginia, Midge, Kathy, and Genevieve; and five grandchildren.

A family visitation is planned for 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, at the Feltner Funeral Chapel, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS.
